Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and their partners have produced a guide that contains useful information for people arriving from overseas, to enable new arrivals to settle in to the area successfully and access vital services. Bedfordshire has a long history of welcoming new arrivals, many of whom have settled in the county permanently. As a result, Bedford and Luton are the most diverse settlements, ethnically and culturally, in the East of England.
