Nadia and volunteers achieving success for the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme (SVPRS)

A successful SVPRS Volunteers Workshop was held in conjunction with Bedford Borough Council on Friday 01/02/2019 at BRASS led by Nadia Laribi (Syrian Refugees Support Officer at BRASS) .

Because of their language skills, the volunteers are involved in the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme.

The participants who not only learned new skills, but enjoyed the workshop were Baraah Abdulaal, Nadia Gasmi, Muna Suleiman, Doha Alneser and Mahmoud El Seyed. Some of the team have already been volunteering with BRASS for over 2 years.

“Managing the programme has been a challenge in the past, but with the volunteers’ contribution it has become a success!” Nadia Laribi told us.
