Hungry To Learn At The Language Cafe

Nadia and some young learners enjoying books donated by BRASS at the Language Cafe, All Nations Church, Brickhill Drive, Bedford on 12th January.

English Is On The Menu At The Language Cafe

The Language Cafe is a community initiative which BRASS is pleased to support. We invite all our clients wishing to learn or improve their English and to meet new people to come along to the Cafe, there will be a warm welcome waiting for you! Coffee, tea and biscuits are served and children are welcome!

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who donated new and nearly new books as Christmas presents for Refugee and Asylum Seeker children. We had an amazing response and the books were given out at the BRASS Christmas Party on 14th December. All the donated books were laid out for the children to choose from and every child received 5 books to take home with them. Over 100 people attended the BRASS Christmas Party which was held at Tavistock Community Centre. Thanks again to everyone who made donations including Bedford Girls' School, Jenny Cann (on behalf of University of Bedfordshire) and the many individuals too - you all contributed to a very successful and happy event.
