BRASS Fundraiser Vacancy

Bedfordshire Refugee and Asylum Seeker Support (BRASS) supports refugees and asylum seekers in Bedfordshire.

We provide free Drop in Advice sessions on many areas including immigration and employment and also provide free one-to-one tutoring, and hold small classes, in English and Life Skills.

We also arrange a variety of social activities for our clients to help with feelings of isolation.

We also arrange events particularly during Refugee Week to show the plight of refugees to the general public and school children.

We are currently looking for a fundraiser to replace our current one, who will be retiring in December after many years with us.

We would need someone who is able to work 21 hours per month, at an hourly rate to be negotiated. We have long, ongoing funding relationships with the Lottery nationally and the Harper Trust locally as well as a number of smaller grant providers.
