Refugee Week 2020 Comes to a Close

Today is the last day of Refugee Week 2020. Thank you for celebrating with us the contribution of refugees. There are many resources available on the subject of asylum and refugees, here's some suggested reading:-

Refugee Week Sketch Friday

Sketch Friday Friday 19th June This week, the usual Higgins Sketch Friday group will be joining Refugee Week celebrations. Every Friday, we post an object or artwork from the Higgins collections which inspires the group to create their own piece of art, but this week, we'll be sharing an object or image relating to displacement, migration and experience of being a refugee. Anyone can join in and share their artwork with us. No particular artistic skills required, any media that takes your fancy. Share with us by joining the Facebook group or by posting on social media (but don't forget to tag us in).
